This 4-foot coffee table is the result of an effort to use this bold wenge wood that a client had acquired and wished to use in a special project. The joinery fitting all the parts of this table together is one of the most creative elements of its design, as all the parts interlock with each other, rather than depending on floating tenon joinery or screws. The curly maple “flames” are featured throughout and truly make this a special piece.
